FAB FOOD - LABYRINTH

With Livia Peraldo Matton, Elle Decor Italia director, we dealt with different aspects of nutrition, primarily sustainability and consciousness. Seasonality, km0, biodiversity, regeneration of natural systems, optimization of resources, reduction of waste are the main themes that Fab Food - The new spaces and rituals puts on stage. The result is an all-round story between culture, ethics, sociology and finally design, as a planning strategy for the future.⁣

 

We therefore started to investigate the phenomenon of vegetable gardens in the city and how they could be inserted in an urban dimension. An authentic representation of the urban space and its elements in a powerful and evident green.

 

Thus was born the first room, real and digital, called the Labyrinth, which tells a new quality of the city space. Loops and niches house outdoor tables, chairs and benches; the plants that surround them are all edible, even the most unexpected. The green project was conceived with the advice of the landscape architect Marco Bay.
