Christie's

Offices and art gallery in Shanghai

Shanghai - China
2014

Christie's headquarter in Shanghai's historical Bund has been renovated by Vudafieri-Saverino Partners. The multi-purpose art space is located in the Ampire Building built in 1907. The main purpose of the project was to combine historical elements with the new ones.

White walls and wooden floors, tailored furniture and specific lighting solutions are the main features of the rooms that cover an area of almost 1,000 sqm designed for exhibition galleries and offices, which also serve as a gathering place for art lovers and collectors during exhibitions, private sales, lectures and other events.
