ROBAR
The RoBar at Rossana Orlandi's Roguiltlessplastic '21 exhibition during Design Week 2021, located in the cloisters of the Museum of Science and Technology, aimed to raise awareness about material reuse and recycling.
This approximately 100sqm sustainable bar-installation featured three counters made with lightweight black Finsa - Greenpanel MDF. These counters, dedicated to food, drinks, and storage, showcased the material's alveolar structure through visible cuts and vertical pilasters. Eight arches of corrugated black panels defined the bar-bistro area, each displaying polycarbonate slogans (Save the Waste, Waste is Value, Sustainability, Responsibility, Emotionability, Guiltless plastic) created from optical groups and 3D printer. The uniquely colored and sized tables were crafted by 3D Wall Panels Italia and The Good Plastic Company using recycled plastic panels.
