DRY SOLFERINO
DRY is a contemporary venue which blends, in an unexpected way, two souls that correspond to two distinct physical areas, the cocktail bar and the pizzeria. The first room is dominated by the brass counter, the protagonist not only of the room but also of the shop window, creating a homogeneous composition with the two bench-sofas set into the large window outside. In the second room, contrary to common practice, the oven is hidden, becoming the pretext for the insertion of soft, curved walls that mark the passage between the bar and the restaurant dining room. The lighting is provided by simple pendant lamps, either single, in interwoven groups on a metal beam, or in clusters.
The result is a glamorous night-time space, designed from a rough and industrial base with simple but sparkling furniture to match the natural décor of the spirits, labels and mixology sets, both vintage and new.
