PECK CITY LIFE

Restaurant, Milan - Italy

Peck CityLife occupies an organically shaped pavilion in Piazza Tre Torri, centrally positioned between the Shopping District entrance and the iconic architecture that symbolizes this new urban space. Our concept blends Peck's historic identity with a timeless and highly contemporary design. The interior is structured to create a fluid narrative across the delicatessen, restaurant, wine bar, and cocktail bar, fostering a continuous experience. While each area serves a distinct function and engages with the public differently, they collectively contribute to a unique and cohesive whole.

The space pays homage to post-war Milan – its reconstruction, economic boom, and the industrious vision of its citizens, the very milieu in which Peck's legendary status was established. This tribute is conveyed through subtle, rather than overt, references, embodying the understated yet bold character of Milan. Our goal was to create an environment rich in symbolic elements, harmonizing Peck's historical legacy with its modern and contemporary evolution. Iconic Peck materials, such as wood, black iron, and copper, have been reimagined and incorporated in innovative ways. The outdoor terrace, or 'dehors,' features a minimalist, fully glazed structure, echoing the iconic black and green color palette of the gastronomy with its essential design.
