Artissima Fair '17 - '18 - '19
For three Artissima editions (2017-2019), we have designed the fair's layout, inspired by Turin's Baroque grid, creating interconnected squares and avenues for a fluid visitor experience.
The Oval terrace hosted the VIP Lounge, Restaurant, and Bistrot, evoking Turin's salons and landscapes. 2017 VIP lounges recalled 19th-century bourgeois homes. Celebrating Arte Povera's 50th anniversary, the Oval featured references to Turin's Piper Club and Deposito dell’Arte Presente, the latter reimagined as art vaults. "PIPER. Learning at the discotheque" offered unconventional art talks in a Piper-inspired setting.
In 2018, the VIP Lounge featured Roberto Coda Zabetta's repurposed floor as a dramatic ceiling painting, creating a suspended atmosphere. Furnishings were by Cargo. The new "Sound" section at OGR explored contemporary sound art.
2019's VIP Lounge, in partnership with 100x100factory, presented "Together," merging art and design through collaborations with Italian companies like Manzi, Alma Design, Montbel, and Floranth. Artist Nick Devereux created intimate spaces with his tapestries. "Together" emphasized the synergy between art and design in promoting Italian style, building on their "Made in Italy" work.
