GIOVANNI RASPINI
The concpet for the new Giovanni Raspini boutique in China interprets the DNA of the brand, blending the authenticity of Tuscan goldsmith tradition with a contemporary vision. Located in Shanghai's Grand Gateway 66, the flagship store tells the essence of Made in Italy through a dialogue between Italian culture and Eastern influences.
The aesthetic balance of the design draws on natural materials, earthy tones, and details inspired by Tuscany, while the black facade—emblematic of the brand—and textured surfaces intertwine with symbolic elements of Chinese culture, such as the silver installation depicting a branch with parrots. This piece pays homage to Raspini's Animalier collection and evokes a connection with nature. Every element celebrates Italian craftsmanship: from walls evoking Tuscan villages to a colour palette reminiscent of rolling hill landscapes, and bespoke furnishings designed specifically for the space. At the heart of the store, an atelier-style table invites visitors to explore the collections in an intimate and welcoming environment, while the VIP area offers an exclusive experience.
The project serves as a cultural bridge between Italy and China, reflecting shared values of harmony and beauty, and redefines luxury as the meeting point between tradition and design.
