EPICENTRO

Epicentro is a new service from Cooperativa Sociale Diapason, which has been active in the social network of Milan and the Brianza area for over 30 years. Created with the aim of promoting connection between people and the neighbourhood, Epicentro emerges as an example of transformation and enhancement of urban space. Indeed, Isola, where it is located, represents an area of Milan characterised by a strong contrast between the liveliness of its social fabric and the difficulties linked to the degradation of some of its spaces: the ideal place for an initiative that aims to reconnect, include and enhance diversity.

We have completely renovated the venue located in Via Volturno, in a council-owned premises within a social housing context.  Our intervention has transformed the existing old premises into a welcoming and stimulating space, demonstrating how care and beauty are effective tools for education and inclusion.
