DRY VITTORIO VENETO

Cocktails & Pizza, Milan - Italy

In the heart of Porta Venezia neighborhood, we designed the second Dry Milano with a distinct 'dual soul': a space that seamlessly transitions from day to night. The project strategically leverages the location's dual exposure and the abundant natural light streaming through thirteen windows along the historic facade.

The interior immediately captivates with its atmosphere. Upon entering, guests are greeted by an impressive cocktail station, where the mise en place is arranged across three atolls, surrounded by communal tables. The adjacent room is dedicated to the restaurant-pizzeria, offering a contrasting ambiance. The decor blends the building's period elements – a former early 20th-century newspaper distribution company – with contemporary design features, resulting in a bold and modern layout. The warm wooden floor creates a contrast against the partially exposed, rough historical walls, accentuating the space's transformation into a modern loft from its industrial origins. Brass, the iconic element of Dry Milano, is prominently featured in the furnishing finishes, including large tables and lighting fixtures.
