EGALITE

The new concept for Égalité, in the Porta Venezia district, celebrates the savoir-faire of traditional French boulangerie craftsmanship. The expansive laboratory and oven, prominently positioned within the main room, place the bakers' artistry at the heart of the visual experience, allowing clients to witness the bread-making process firsthand. 

The design blends elements of 1950s bakeries – such as the yellow-orange polished counter and the classic beige tiled wall – with a selection of materials that embody simplicity and authenticity, exemplified by the solid wood shelving. This is all playfully juxtaposed with a nod to the iconic Parisian boulangerie and café, seen in the statement zinc bar. Benefiting from seven street-facing windows, the venue achieves a unique balance of brightness and intimacy. This is further enhanced by the innovative layout, featuring islands with a mix of small and large tables, varying heights, and diverse seating options.
